Winter Wonderland Maternity Shoot | Traverse City Maternity Photographer
Winter wonderland. Snowy maternity sessions are some of my absolute favorite things to photograph. There is just something about the beauty of fallen snow mixed with the glow of an expectant mother. This shoot was even more stunning as the red of her dress popped against the white of the snow.
As northerners, we often complain about the cold weather and snow but the snow lends to some gorgeous shots, don’t you agree? I love having it as a natural backdrop for so many of my sessions during the winter months. We are truly blessed to live in an area with a winter wonderland.
I also couldn’t resist the addition of an owl. Owls are a symbol for wisdom. This is because owls can see that which others cannot, which is the essence of true wisdom. A true protector.
